OpenAI CEO Sam Altman reportedly informed his employees that the AI startup will not get a direct say on how the US Department of Defense uses its AI. However, following a ChatGPT boycott movement online and several key members leaving the firm, OpenAI has decided to pause the deployment of its AI to defense agencies such as the National Security Agency (NSA).
