Yes Bank focuses on profitable growth amid deposit mobilisation challenges: CEO Prashant Kumar

Prashant Kumar, MD & CEO of Yes Bank, acknowledged that some fast-growing retail segments, such as gold loans, are areas where the bank currently does not have a meaningful presence. While gold loans are a profitable business, he said any entry into the segment would be considered as part of Yes Bank’s longer-term three-to-five-year strategy.
