Last years INR3,000 crore funding doesnt seem to have proven enough to steady the airline. In the April–June quarter — typically the most profitable for airlines — SpiceJet reported an INR240 crore loss. Free cash has fallen from INR700 crore in March to about INR300 crore in June. Between March and June, revenue plunged 40%. Can SpiceJet make a comeback from here?
