Luxury fashion brand Prada has announced that it will work with Indian artisans to make and export the iconic Indian Kolhapuri chappals around the world. Prada has said it will produce around 2,000 Kolhapuri chappals in Maharashtra and Karnataka that will be sold across 40 Prada stores around the world and online. But how and why did this happen?
