UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned the deadly attack on Palau-flagged tanker MT Settebello off Oman that killed three Indian seafarers, backing the IMO’s strong denunciation and calling for protection of civilian shipping, seafarers’ safety and respect for international law in the tense Strait of Hormuz region.
