Shaurya Chakra awardee and Indian Navy MARCOS commando Amit Kumar Rana died in a road accident. The Kangra native was celebrated for his bravery in Operations Danna and Shok Baba, where he played key roles in eliminating terrorists. Himachal Pradesh Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri called his death a major loss for the state and nation.
