Rajasthan: Akashvani Sets Up 20 KW FM Transmitter On Indo-Pak Border In Jaisalmer To Boost Radio Coverage

A 20 kW Akashvani FM transmitter has been inaugurated at Ramgarh in Jaisalmer to improve radio coverage in border areas near Pakistan. The facility will cover nearly 20,000 sq km within an 80-km radius, providing information, educational and entertainment content while strengthening communication infrastructure in the region.
