Nvidia's Rubin Chips Pass Manufacturing Tests, Set for Second Half 2025 Deployment

Nvidia announced that its six new Rubin data center chips have passed manufacturing milestone tests and are on track for second half 2025 deployment. The Rubin accelerators offer 3.5 times better AI training performance and five times better inference performance compared to Blackwell chips, with a new 88-core CPU providing twice the performance of its predecessor. Microsoft and major cloud providers will be among the first customers to deploy the technology, as Nvidia maintains its AI accelerator market leadership despite growing competition.
