D Gukesh suffered a second defeat at the 2025 Norway Chess in as many days, losing to compatriot Arjun Erigaisi in 62 moves in Round 2 on Tuesday to remain at the bottom of the standings with zero points. Arjun, meanwhile, moved into the joint-lead alongside Hikaru Nakamura after his victory.
