Odisha-based deep-tech startup Coratia Technologies secured a Rs 66-crore contract with the Indian Navy to supply indigenously developed Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles (UWROVs). These robots will be used for ship hull cleaning, salvage activities, and infrastructure inspections. This deal highlights the Navy's commitment to fostering domestic innovation and reduces reliance on foreign suppliers, boosting India's 'Make in India' initiative.
