Nationwide Flood Management Success: Over 431 Projects Completed

The Indian government has completed 431 flood management projects, securing 5.13 million hectares and protecting 54.84 million people. Under the flood management and border areas programme, states execute these projects with central guidance and funding. Assistance of Rs 8,725.16 crore is allocated till 2025, including significant amounts for Himachal Pradesh.
