MoSPI unveils draft National Industrial Classification 2025

The statistics ministry has drafted the National Industrial Classification (NIC)-2025, revising the NIC-2008 to incorporate economic changes like new industries and innovations. The draft, featuring around 1,900 sub-classes compared to 1,303 in the previous version, reflects increased granularity in sectors such as health, finance, agriculture, and IT.
