MMR Health Alert: 9 In 10 Tobacco Users Continue Habit Despite Knowing Oral Cancer Risks, Reveals KIMS Survey

A KIMS Cancer Institute survey of 456 people across the MMR found that 77.2% were aware tobacco can cause oral cancer, yet nearly 88% of users continued the habit. The study also identified low quit attempts, limited counselling support and early signs of potentially cancerous oral conditions among participants.
