The Maharashtra Cabinet has approved the ₹12,442-crore Maharashtra Road Improvement Project, backed by $2 billion in funding from AIIB and NDB. The programme will upgrade key highways and growth corridors over three years, aiming to improve connectivity, reduce logistics costs, enhance road safety and support industrial growth across the state.
