Insecticides (India) Limited launched GRANUVIA™ on May 16, 2026, a next-generation granular insecticide developed by Corteva Agriscience for paddy crop protection in the domestic market. The product offers up to 60 days of control against brown plant hopper and up to two weeks of stem borer protection, recommended for application 30–35 days after transplanting. IIL's management highlighted its farmer-friendly application, cost reduction benefits, and potential to improve crop health and productivity amid rising pest pressure.
