India’s semiconductor push faces key manufacturing gap despite design strength, says report

The report by early-stage deeptech VC firm Endiya Partners has identified seven priority clusters where India can compete globally. The report recommended training over 100,000 engineers across design-to-manufacturing roles, deepening technology alliances with the US, EU, Japan, and Taiwan, and supporting chip design ventures targeting mobility, industrial automation, and defence use cases.
