India’s first collaborative animal welfare funding circle was launched at the India Animal Welfare Forum in Mumbai with ₹14 crore in initial backing. Supported by major philanthropic organisations, the initiative aims to address funding gaps in animal welfare, strengthen conservation efforts and promote coordinated, long-term, policy-aligned action across regions and species.
