India has become the world's second-largest solar market, surpassing the US in annual capacity additions for 2025. The nation's solar capacity has surged by over 5,370% since 2014, now exceeding 155 GW. This rapid clean energy growth has enabled India to meet its Paris Agreement climate targets ahead of schedule.
