India, Australia to sign pact to deepen defence industry cooperation

India and Australia are strengthening defence ties. Their defence ministers met in New Delhi. They will sign a new agreement to boost defence industry collaboration. Both nations will work on futuristic technology research. Maritime security cooperation will also increase. They are finalizing a Joint Maritime Security Collaboration Roadmap. This includes sharing information on maritime traffic and enhancing undersea awareness.
