Italian authorities and Games organisers will rigorously monitor betting patterns to prevent match-fixing and manipulation at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics. The newly established Joint Integrity Unit will collaborate with law enforcement and sports bodies to ensure the integrity of the event, which is set to feature over 3,000 athletes from more than 90 countries.
