EU Welcomes Potential UK Return to Single Market

The European Union would welcome the UK back to the single market if it chooses to rejoin, expressed French foreign minister Jean-Noel Barrot. This follows UK's openness to align with EU business rules. The Labour government, however, remains opposed to rejoining the single market or customs union.
