DRDO develops naval flare for Kalvari-class submarines of Navy

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has achieved a milestone by developing a naval flare for the Indian Navy's Kalvari-class submarines. Developed by DRDO's High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), the system was formally handed over to the Director General of Naval Armament Inspection (DGNAI).
