Dadar Railway Station Gets Modern Electronic Interlocking System, Replacing 34-Year-Old Panel Setup

Dadar railway station in Mumbai has been upgraded with a Siemens WESTRACE MK2 Electronic Interlocking system, replacing the panel interlocking setup operational since 1992. Railway officials said the new signalling network supports 103 operational routes and includes redundancy systems, dual detection technology and automated power backup.
