Centre For Transforming India Launches Startup Sakhi To Empower Rural Women Entrepreneurs In Maharashtra

Centre for Transforming India (CFTI) has launched Startup Sakhi, an initiative to promote women’s entrepreneurship via SHGs, with a pilot in Maharashtra’s Raigad. Officials said up to 10,000 applications are expected, with 1,000 women supported. COO Amit Deshpande said it aims to bridge gaps in resources, skills and confidence.
