BIT Mesra Secures ₹2.4 Crore Govt Grant For Study On Climate, Environment, & Mental Health

BIT Mesra has received a ₹2.4 crore government grant to lead a multi-institutional study on how climate, environment, and socio-economic factors affect mental health in India. Using AI, machine learning, GIS, and wearable devices, the project will develop predictive tools and a dashboard to guide policymakers in climate-sensitive mental health interventions.
