Avantel bags Rs 460 crore contract for Indian Railways' real-time train tracking system

Avantel has secured a significant contract worth Rs 459.9 crore. The company will supply and maintain Real-Time Train Information System devices for Indian Railways. This project, developed with ISRO, uses satellite technology for train tracking. The deal covers 12000 devices over three years. It aims to enhance real-time tracking and improve railway operations efficiency.
