Apple claims former employee, China’s Oppo stole trade secrets

Apple has sued Oppo, accusing it of poaching Apple Watch engineer Chen Shi and encouraging him to steal trade secrets. Shi allegedly downloaded confidential health-sensing technology files before joining Oppo in June. Apple claims Oppo knowingly benefited to develop competing wearables, while Oppo denies wrongdoing and pledges cooperation with legal proceedings.
