'Any kind of violence in Manipur is 'great injustice' to ancestors and future generations': PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Imphal, called violence in Manipur “unfortunate” and urged unity for peace and development. He laid foundation stones for projects worth ₹7,300 crore, including urban roads, IT, healthcare, education, and sports infrastructure. Earlier, he inaugurated ₹9,000 crore projects in Mizoram and dedicated the Bairabi-Sairang railway line, connecting the state to India’s rail network.
