Ajay Singhal Appointed as Haryana's New DGP

Ajay Singhal, a 1992-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the Director General of Police for Haryana. He succeeds O P Singh, who retired. Singhal's appointment followed a panel selection by the Union Public Service Commission and will serve a minimum tenure of two years.
