Sacred Souls’ School, Gharuan, celebrates 22nd Founder’s Day

Sacred Souls’ School, Gharuan, celebrated its 22nd Founder’s Day with enthusiasm at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh. The programme, based on the theme “Patriotism”, beautifully reflected love and dedication towards the nation. The event was graced by chief guest Lt Gen Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon (retd), while the recently retired Chief Accountant of the school, Jharmal Singh, attended as special guest. The programme featured patriotic group songs, duet performances, dances, mash-ups and inspiring stage presentations. Special appreciation was received for the plays “The Final Speech of the Great Dictator” and” Gagan Damama Bajyo”, along with a monologue on Ian Cardozo. Students were honoured for academic excellence and outstanding achievements in sports, art and theatre by Director DP Singh and the chief guest. The event also witnessed the launch of the Old Soulians’ Association (OSA), an alumni platform jointly inaugurated by Director DP Singh and Principal Dr Simran Dhillon. The initiative received an enthusiastic response from former students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem.
